    Default Bottom Stringer Model IV

I am now preparing for fabric, but have question re: the bottom stringer.

When I purchased my Model IV, the lower stringer was already installed. However, it runs from the tail and divides under the lift strut attach point, running all the way forward to the heat shield, on both sides. I am wondering if this is actually correct.

As it stands, the fabric will not lay flat on the bottom fuselage tubes, and where it passes between the fuselage and the landing gear, it will bind the fabric (wear it).

Should the lower stringer actually terminate at the lift strut attach cross tube?

    Thanks,
    Mike
