    Default Nose pant

Just received my new style nose pant (as seen on the KF Facebook page). I am finally getting around to putting shoes on my plane, will report back when I get it installed.

Congrats! A lot of work and collaboration went into that to make sure it is the best possible pant. You're going to love it! The install is pretty straightforward. We look forward to your feedback. Let us know if you have any questions.

    Good luck!

    Hi Dorsal,

How much time did you spend making the mods....Looks cool!

How easy is it to switch them off an on once set up and installed?

When you get some performance data (speeds/fuel consumption), would you be wiling to share it on the list?

Information on performance increases with the wheel pants seems to be pretty hard to come by.

I have a similar KF Trigear; but, without the wheel pants....been a little reluctant to dive in because of a lack of performance data...but I really do like the appearance.

    Sincerely,

    Dave S

Basic fitting was a couple hours per pant, getting them on or off once fitted is a few minutes per pant (pretty painless).
After 1.5 hours of flying today I am guessing about 3 mph improvement including belly pod. At some point I will try a same day head to head comparison but given it took me three years to get around to putting them on it might be awhile
All in all pretty happy with them and like the new nose pant design (will be selling the original nose pant)
I also fit the mains with a template for the holes rather than taking the wheels off.
