    Jim,
Thanks for the report and the pictures. I have been into the Owyhee "airport". I recall when landing a guy following asked how you could tell if you were on the runway. My answer was "if you can see it, you are not on it". Another place you might try sometime is Doug Bar nestled in a flat area on the Oregon side of Hells Canyon.

    Jim,

I love what you do.....Kitfox, grass strip, tent - that's gotta be as good as it gets!

    Thanks for sharing.

Camped at Owyhee once - drove in - interesting road. Beautiful spot - about 14 crow miles NNE of the landing strip - east side of the lake.

It was a great morning to get some air under my wings in Alberta.

I believe that's the fastest kitfox I've see yet! Sounds like fun times.

I agree that is a very nice picture of your Kitfox and background!

Daylight is by far the best time to fly IMO.

Eddie looks good! Love watching the sunrise while flying. Something about landing off airport out in the middle of nowhere knowing the only way your getting back is the the machine you built!

IflybyJim (he gets the blame for a lot of things I do) suggested a great grass strip to check out.
