took a flight today over the big rocks. For some of you this is no big deal but for this praire boy there is just some fear when you look at those big rocks. It was a perfect flight, smooth as glass. Looked at a huge coal mine about the size of 3 mountain peaks. Also a huge Frankslide. happened about 100 years ago and buried a whole town. Went about a hour into the mountains and felt good about beating my unwarranted fear. Went over the rocks at 8500' on the way in and followed the pass on the way out at 4500' to 5500'. Hope you enjoy the photos.

Great shots Mic. Those are first class mountains.
Coming from the plains of Minnesota to Arizona I understand your "respect" for those large rock piles. I still ratchet up my attention level every time I fly through their neighborhoods.

The videography was very well done in this one. Falcon Field is my home base and the area they were flying over was Roosevelt Lake, Dam, and around the Superstition Mtns. Very beautiful area.
