I sold my Model III last fall and just found out it crashed in May. Here is the NTSB preliminary report.

I know nothing else about the accident.

Bummer! Preflight, preflight, preflight for sure. Not to be to picky, but doesn't a Kitfox have 5 flaperon ribs?? I know an Avid speed wing or Aerobat has only 4 hinges (9' long flaperon) but thought all Kitfoxes had 5 on each wing. JImChuk
There was a service bulletin, but I always inspected them on my preflight. I had, as I recall, nearly 900 logged in that Kitfox and the plane was pushing 1200 hours when I sold it.

Hello,
I bought N73BH and will be restoring it, I've started a vlog on YouTube and will be logging it there. Yes I've been watching Trent Palmer too much....
I plan to be releasing videos about once a week, I didn't get to work on the plane in this video but I just re-fiberglassed the cowling and will post a new video on that soon.
I bought a KITFOX!!!! #BlameTrentPalmer Vlog 002
BTW all FIVE flaperon hangers broke, as you can see in the video it's completely detached.
Well, there you are Pete. Now you know a little more about 73BH.
