    Thanks Dave!

Pretty dull really aren't they compared to Arizona etc...! I hope those American chaps fully appreciate where they live and fly...

We get excited if we see a hill, or a river

Did someone mention a hill or river? How about beautiful and of course scenic Utah dried mud? The Great Salt Lake where I landed this morning:

Seems a Kitfox feels at home in any landscape imaginable. Great photos.

Steve, looks like you had the whole State of Utah to yourself this morning.

Monocock- that little grass strip photo looks like a piece of Kitfox heaven to me.

    Desert Fox 4,
Yea, I thought I was all alone, kinda like being on the moon. However, after I took off and had climbed to about 800 ft AGL, a Mooney flew right to left UNDER me! You never know out there boys & girls, keep those eyes open and outside the cabin!

And I do want to come see your sandbox and fly that river!

    Hey Andy!
That looks so much like the Buckley highway to my friends, Brian and KC Holm's place on a flying residence!!

I was just thinking of them over the 4th July!
Spent some time with them a couple of years ago.
    So nice up that way!

Hello from a chilly South Africa!

The picture is of a recent flight to some wind turbines to the North of me in the semi-desert area called the Karoo. Some turbulence 600m on the lee wind side of them. Will post pictures sometime.....

Heading to the Idaho backcountry in the morning. Kris (my wife) and I will be camping at Smiley Creek then flying to more remote areas from there. I will have my SPOT on (link below signature line) if you want to "ride along". We will be home Sunday (7/13/2014). There is a webcam at Smiley Creek airstrip and I will try to park where my plane can be seen. Here is the link to the webcam: Smiley Creek Webcam
