Thank you so much for flying this important mission for us. Believe me, feeling useful is an understatement as without our volunteer pilots such as yourself, it will be impossible for The Bateleurs to provide an aerial perspective on important environmental issues. Took a trip this weekend in my Kitfox from Portland to the San Juan Islands in Puget Sound. Stayed overnight in Friday Harbor and then flew next morning to Orcas Island and Lopez Island. Snapped a few pics as I toured the islands in beautiful weather. There were many Beaver and Otter seaplanes coming and going all day.

Very nice, I had a friend that lived just outside of Friday Harbor in the late 70s and early 80s. Visited him a couple of times out there and really liked the area. Took the ferry from Anacortes to Friday Harbor each time. Would like to do it like you did though. Jim Chuk

Hi Jim, I looked it up on google earth and it certainly looks like great country to fly over - you sure have some wonderful geography to fly in your part of the world. thanks for the photos and inspiration ....

Looks good Larry, I'm jealous of your nice grass. Mine is growing in on the runway extension, but it's not near as full as yours. The picture makes it look better than it really is. Jim Chuk

Come on guys, be nice. I haven't seen green grass since early June. Seriously, both locations look great and Jealous is a nice description of how I feel right now.

All is green and growing like crazy here. I spent several hours mowing today before I went flying. We've gotten near 8" of rain in the last week...
