Thank you for the reply, Mike and what a great idea. The toggle switches look great and you've got a combined switch and CB, so don't have to have so many 'normal' round ones popping through the panel (excuse the very poor pun). I love some of the imagination and ingenuity that's shown by guys like you

Yep, those latest photos make it very clear what you did and cleared up the question in my mind of how you secured the switches to the aluminium frame. I am considering the RockRack switches but if they prove to be a no-go then I will blatantly plagiarise your idea

Panel coming together. Still missing the iPad mount. Messed up some of the labelling and have to redo it. The registration wasn’t supposed to be that big!

Placed my final LEDs. N number yet to be applied. Far upper Right corner may have the new Kitfox logo.

Those both look very nice, Josh and Eddie. Eddie - did you know that the FAA has changed the required wording on the passenger warning placard? It is actually a little simpler and leaves out the "Amateur Built" part of the statement. The new required wording is - " Passenger Warning - this aircraft does not comply with Federal Safety Regulations for standard aircraft."

I'm not sure if it's true, but I've been told that inspectors from now on will require the new wording. Any aircraft inspected and approved prior to the change don't have to make the change.

I'm curious Carl, what is the point of taking up panel space for an iPad? Surely your Garmin screen has anything the iPad has plus more, and it is fully aircraft quality and easily read in bright sunlight. If the iPad is just a backup, why not keep it in the baggage compartment and use that panel space for a nice glovebox.
