    Default avid stol wings

    does anyone know if the avid stol wings will fit a kitfox 2?

    Both wings have 27 1/2" spacing on the spars, so that should fit, more or less. The ribs are not identical, so the butt ribs would be different where the wing and butt rib meet. Lift struts are for sure different, in length as well as how they fit onto the fuselage. JImChuk

    Jim, thanks for the quick response. Do the lift struts attach to the fusalage in the same place even if they are longer?

    In order for the wings to hinge back, the lift strut bottom has to be in line with the rear spar, so I'm sure they must be in the same spot. Because of slight warpage and such, the bolt holes from one plane to another may be slightly different. When you build and drill a set of wings, they fit that fuselage, they may even be slightly different from another same model fuselage. I'll post some pictures showing the Kitfox, and then the Avid lift strut ends and fuselage brackets. JImChuk
