You saw it first on the Freedom Fox! We are pleased to announce the release of the optional firewall forward packages featuring the new Kitfox CarbonTech. The cowlings (top and bottom), the boot cowl and NACA are all made with carbon fiber, epoxy resin and a UV stable clear gel coat allowing the carbon to be left exposed if you want that special accent to show in your color scheme.
The biggest advantages of our CarbonTech are a weight savings of 7 pounds compared to the standard Fiberglass cowls, a more rigid cowl set and the general aesthetic appeal of carbon fiber.
The upgrade is $1845.00 on a standard Series 7 Rotax cowl.
First run of cowlings will be available late February to early March. Get yours ordered soon.
