Default Building S7 sti in sub kits ?

To spread the cost of building is it possible to build a S7 sti in Sub kits ?

Were it possible, what would be the process and in what order would you obtain the kits ?

Sti wing, Fuselage including empennage, finishing with engine, propeller and avionics ?

It's been done. It's not as simple as there are steps with the fuse and with the wings where you need to mate them to set the butt ribs on the fuselage etc.

Also shipping costs to the UK would be so high, I think it would negate any benefit.

That being said you could do it, I would start with the fuselage as there is lots of work that goes into it and lots of covering stuff you could do.

I agree. Wings first you would come to a standstill requiring the fuselage to finish them to a point you could cover them. So fuselage first, then wings, FFW and avionics is what I would do. Although you'd have to plan out your avionics as there might be a few things you need to install in wings/fuselage before covering.
