Default False bottom ribs at lift struts

My search has not yielded pictures of the popular way to position the bottom false ribs in the lift attach bays. Did you attempt to avoid the attach brackets or carve to fit, or, ???? In advance, thanks for your advice, Darrel

    Darrel,
I used the trim to fit method.

There are only two in that bay, and one of them has to be trimmed to fit.

This is a bit off topic here but when I zoom in on your image and look at your lift strut bracket I notice that there are no more welds on the piece that the lift strut bolts into? It looks like a way better design than relying on the welds to hold the wings on. When did kitfox change this?

    Darrel,

I used 3 evenly spaced ribs - same as all the other bays. There were enough provided in the kit for that. I had no problem trimming and fitting them.
