    Locate your ribs at the exact dimensions shown in the manual. As others have said, you trim the cap strip(s) as necessary to allow the bolts & pins to be installed. No problem.

    I will be installing #1 exactly as instructed. I would still like to see the trim job others have done so I can make mine look just as nice.

    I don't know if anyone would consider what I did "nice", but here it is... I probably cut those cap strip tails off more than I needed to, but it worked out just fine. By the time that I fabricated the under-wing closeouts everything looks good to me, and there are no structural or other issues, in my opinion. I just wanted to show you that they can be cut back a lot if you wanted to.
