G'day Everyone,
I've nearly finished catching up on all the maintenance on my newly aquired MkIV 1050. I've done the 5 year rubber replacement but as yet haven't started it since. I have oil pressure and it's circulating back to the tank but I'm paranoid that the cooler is just full of air that's gonna get sucked into the system when it's running. There is no way to fill it with oil then mount it because the hoses and fittings need to be removed to mount it. Has anyone else have there's mounted like this ? The aircraft has nearly 400hrs on it and has been through Rotax approved maintenance organization in the past and it hasn't been changed. What's the deal, should I be worried ?
