COPA for KIDS/YOUNG EAGLES

Happy Easter everyone
Just organizing our annual COPA for KIDS event next month and came across a couple of Utube Videos from recent years.
Has nothing to do with KF`s but thought a few may enjoy them on a nice Sunday afternoon. I think it`s important that we involve our young folks in order to keep GA alive and growing.

Looks like a great program Don. Good luck with your upcomimg event.

Aviation has been locked away behind barbed wire fences and high security gates for our younger generations. Programs like this and the Young Eagles gets them inside the fence and with luck, some will be bit by the aviation bug and persue a life enriching endeavor as many of us have.

That is the best description of what is happening to our GA community. No longer can we just wander around the hangers on Sunday with the grandkids and BS with the neat ole guys playing with their planes. Airports have become "scary places" to our youngsters. Not good.

Let`s continue to do whatever we can to change that.

Good stuff Alex. I've watched those videos before. Fun to see the young introduced to aviation in that format.
I've given over 200 first flights in 36 years of aviation. Always rewarding.

Eddie, it is a blast giving introductory flights especially in the Kitfox. I know many of our members do these flights quite often.
