Radial Kitfox mini coupe, she flies!
Well after a solid 18 month push some good ground runs and taxi runs, I mustered the strength to line up the run way and pull the trigger!
Up she went, It hardly started rolling and I was air born. Amazing, I had about 2/3 throttle and was seeing 1500 FPM. Leveled off and circled the airfield at 3500' AGL for around 30 mins then landed. It was a non even and aside from the flap position wandering in flight everything went better than I could possibly have imagined, Ive since added a flap ratchet locking system and now have 25 hours TT, what a blast to fly. I have more power than I'll ever need and I can air speed redline (100MPH) with just 22" power. I cruise at around 90 MPH with 19" power.
I gotta tell you I just love this little plane.
