    Default Lightening Sub EA81

Just as the title states, anyone got any good ideas on how to lighten up the ea81 high power anchor?

I'm looking at getting a fox with one and the weight seems to be the only thing off-putting for me.

I would recommend passing up that Kitfox/engine. The Subaru engine has had very limited success in Kitfoxes. Do a search on this forum and read all about it.

I would have to 2nd Jim's post about a Subaru powered Kitfox.

Most seem to be over rated on delivered horsepower and under rated on actual weight. A formula for reduced performance and fun.

The Kitfox air frame will take many other engine combinations that will deliver years of good performance and fun.

Thanks so much, I just let that plane slide. Nearly walked into a disaster!
