    Hey Lou. My 914 was a former uav engine. Rotech Research in Vernon BC sells these engines after they remove the Milspec turbo and put in the Rotax one.

    I saw the one on barnstormer, it has some issues, but gov auctions I think might be a great ideal ! I have some great giant scale rc that I am going to sell to fund my projects.

    Hey Lou, I actually bought mine off of a guy who had an accident with his Pelican so I didn't pay Rotech prices. They factory zero them so when you get it, it is basically an overhauled engine with a brand new turbo. I have heard that you can get a Rotech 914 that was used in a UAV and zeroed for the same price you can get a 912ULS new. I also think they don't always have them available.
