After almost 3 years of on and off effort my Model 4 speedster has been approved for flying. This airplane was the factory demonstrator back in 1992 with N91KS as the original tail number. It's also the Speedster that was flown for Aerobatic shows by Jimmy Franklin. When Skystar sold it they changed the tail number to 194KS and it went from one owner to another suffering a small accident and then becoming dismantled, engine sold, and stripped of all fabric. I found it January 2012 from the previous owner who was in upstate New York. Now all I need is a warm day (above freezing would be satisfactory) and the phase 1 fly off gets started. This is my first build and probably the last.

I need to get a photo and update my avatar which is currently a model 2.
