Rotax 582 HRS WORKS???

I would like to collect a few experiences about your Rotax-live.

1. How many hours works?

2. Which maintenance did you do?

3. Wich oil did you use?

4. separate lubrication or fuelmixture?


My little experience:

1. Only 54 hrs

2. Every 25 hrs new sparks, After 10 years out of order - change cylinderseals and clean pistons and rings.

3. Fullsynthetic Castrol RS 2T

4. separate lubrication

1. Only 115 hrs on grey head.

2. Every 25 hrs new spark plugs, After 18 years waiting to be installed - new seals. needle bearings, ceramic water seal modification for rotary valve shaft, new crank at Rotax service center. I try to follow the Rotax maintenance schedule as closely as possible.

3. Full synthetic Amsoil HP Injector or Interceptor oil.

4. Oil injection system.
