    Default Radiator Hose

Can some of you 912 guys help me out with radiator hose identification? What is this stuff and where to get it? I'm doing the 5 year rubber replacement and have the 17mm rotax hose that comes off the engine but after the pressure tank on top of the engine it goes to a larger size. Is this just normal 1" ID hose from the auto parts store or what?

I am replacing the radiator (post on that later) and using standard 1" heater hose.

How about the 90deg neck? Are you using 1" for that too? It seems that mine was 1" and just clamped down tightly at the reservoir. Would rather have an adapter to change sizes, but if it works...

This is what I am using for the 90 degree bend, just finished making a bracket for my thermostat. Can provide the Napa part # if interested.
Or were you talking about the spider connection at the top? If so that is not a bend for me and fits the 1 inch hose snuggly.

    Dorsal,

Where did you get the thermostat housing, is it a Napa Part?

That's looking real nice, Finn! I think I like the looks of that aluminum radiator too. I hope you'll share more details.

Paul, the housing is from HighWing LLC (nice unit).
