Default Is this a model I or II

My friend is selling his Kitfox, imported from Italy. It's American for sure but we have no documentation regarding which type, serial number or year of production. I have some photos and now it’s my hope somebody can tell me if this is a model I or II. And tell me where the serial # is located please.
    Cheers

I believe the model 1 is only 36" wide at the shoulders. The kit I have is anyway. It's # 11 so it's one of the earliest ones. Doors are probably different also. Jim Chuk

PS I just went and checked on the Kitfox LLC site, they give descriptions of the different Kitfox models, and the 1 is 36" wide, but the 2 is 39.5" wide. (as I thought) Also, the bottom of the door on the Kitfox 1 is parallel with the lower longeron for just about a foot or so before it angles up. I saw a pic of a Kitfox 2 in an add, and the bottom of the door is parallel almost to the back end of the door. Don't know if or where the serial # were on these planes though.

I have a model I. The photo appears to be a model I to me due to the shape of the door openings. I think the 36" width should solve the mystery. I love my bubble doors which extended the shoulder, elbow and hip width to 44". My serial number is on a brass plate attached to the PIC exterior side of the turtle deck.
    Serial #42.
