    Default BRS Installation

I am interested in mounting methods and locations for a soft pack BRS in the S7/Super Sport.
I just took delivery and am tossing around ideas, all of which fire through the turtle deck.
I'd enjoy hearing from those who have installed and seeing any photos.
I'm also curious about 'weakening' methods for the turtle deck.

PLEASE don't let this thread mutate into a discussion of whether or not a BRS is a good idea! My copilot is my 2 yr old daughter. That's good enough reason for me.

    Thanks!
    Wade

    Hi Wade,

Mike Berglund mounted his on a tray at the top of the baggage compartment.
I thermoformed an ABS cover from light weight sheet that he mounted on
the Lexan turtledeck after he had cut the appropriate hole. He then was able
to utilize the full baggage compartment. I'll attach a photo of the
simple mold. (surprised I was able to find it in the mold jungle)

    Just one idea

Out of curiosity, how much does the system weigh?

BRS advertises this 1350 Soft Pack to come out to 28 lbs but it depends on the installation. They told me that 30 is about the max in the end. I'm a little nose-heavy so it may actually help.

Thanks for the input on putting it atop the baggage rails. Though it isn't tucked inside and hidden somewhere, it actually is quite out of the way across the rails. I appreciate the photo of the mold for the port too.
