Default Seat Pan Storage Cover Question

I didn't see any instructions on the seat pan storage cover. What is everyone doing, just cutting and setting it in place, or installing a hinge so it stays in place and does not move? Thanks

I have two. Both are a light sheet steel, both are hinged. One is held closed with a camlock, one is held closed with a keyed lock.

Clear acrylic sheet from Amazon, with a finger hole.

Take a look at the link below...used angle aluminum around perimeter with piano hinge at rear of seat.

I used a light aluminum piano hinge on the rear and a finger hole on the front. Works fine.

Mine is attached to the bottom of the Seat Pad. When you pick up the Seat the lid comes with it. I believe it is Velcro'ed, it works great. I could go take a picture of it if you would like to see it.
