    Default Wing Fold Pins

Is it acceptable to keep some oil or anti-seize on the pins in the forward spar to make it easier to remove them and fold the wings?

    Thanks.

    Micro,

In my opinion, a little lubrication on the pin is a good thing...there is nothing that will be damaged by some oil on the pin...its steel on steel and the hysol used for the tabs on the end of the spar tube is not bothered by oil. I use a little (emphasis on "a little" so it doesn't drip/run) spray on white lithium grease.

    Sincerely,

Thanks, Dave. I use just a touch of synthetic oil on a lot of things - sticks to the metal but not much affinity for dirt. That's why I asked about oil first....

    Have a good day.
