I would have the servo tested. It's conceivable that after 10 years the feedback potentiometer is starting to show its age.

Also any slop or tightness in the control system could cause problems. Is everything smooth and properly lubricated?

Check the grub screw hasn't come loose on the servo arm. There was a similar thread on the MGL forum and one guy found the grub screw had come loose. He hasn't reported back (yet) whether that solved the problem but it's an easy thing to check at least.
Oohh thaaaattss' what those are called. Makes sense I suppose. Thx for the vocabulary lesson.

The control system looks like new and I lube it frequently. Without the auto pilot it flies beautifully hands off straight and level but when you switch on AP it begins to slowly weave back and forth. Dynon told me to turn the sensitivity back up to 40. I went to 15 and the weaving became radically uncontrollable. It had been on 20 for ever and I have many hours on it working fine and now I have to run it on 4 to make it work. What happens when I get to #0? Dynon sent me permission to send it in to be checked out but I hate to be down for a month
The odd thing is it started do it after an up date?
Perhaps a bit off-topic - my apologies! Dynon users: What size servo do you use for a model 7? I red from @Dorsal that he used the SV32 but then was tempted to upgrade the pitch servo to SV42, while keeping the roll an SV32. Is that what the Dynon folks here are using?
p.S. My first post
I installed the SV32 long.
I would ask the folks at Kitfox. I asked them before ordering, and I was advised to use an SV52 for pitch.
I don’t recall which one they recommend for pitch (SV32 I think). Sorry I can’t find the email, and my build log isn’t handy.

Thanks for the replies! I pinged Kitfoxaircraft to see if there are any recommendations for pitch and roll torque.
Happy Holidays to y'all!
I'm curious as well. Please let us know what they say.
