    Just to add some more information to the discussion:

    I have found that my airplane will not self equalize the tanks, even sitting in a level hangar. I can't explain why, it just doesn't do it. It won't transfer in a wing low situation, either. Again I can't explain.

    It will transfer in a yaw out-of-trim situation. If I slip hard to one side or the other it will transfer fuel from one tank to the other. Vent and feed lines are not looped or restricted...


    It must be possessed by alien ghosts or something.

    Gut feeling says your k factor and fittings have enough friction to not equalize two tanks that are probably within a fraction of a psi head pressure difference. It probably is equalizing just very slowly. Up your hose and fitting sizes and it will increase flow
