    Default sizes (again..)

on the risk to open up an existing thread:

I'm in the position to choose for a prop on my IV Speedster 912UL. It will be an Ivoprop Quick adjust, but: which size?
I followed the threads on this marvelous community concerning sizes of IVO IFA's, but does that go for the QA's as well?
My doubt is - should I go for the 70 or the 68"?
What do you guys fly with? Any comment highly appreciated!!

Yes, my impression is everyone goes for the ultralight high pitch(pitch range from 35" to 70") version on the 80 hp Rotax. I would personally go with the 72" long diameter as you can try it out and easily cut it down yourself with a hacksaw if it's too much prop.

    From the IVOPROP instructions -

"If you wish to increase top speed or decrease cruise RPM, switch to a 2-blade prop or cut the 3-blade prop to smaller diameter using a hack saw. As long as you cut the same length piece from each blade, the prop will remain in balance. Do not cut prop to less than 48” in diameter."
