Kitfox says the battery weighs 2.5 and the bracket is .5 lbs. the cost is approximately 25% more. Hopefully, it will be worth it.
Thanks for all the comments.

What are the specs on this battery? Amp hours, dimensions?
Here are specs provided by Kitfox when I asked for them in June of this year:
The battery is $189.00
Weight: 2.5 lbs
Dims: 4.5 x 3.38 x 4.05
Voltage: 13.6
Amp: 20 Pbeq A/H
410 CCA
I'm using an iPad Geo, so I don't know how to cut and paste Kitfox's description. Will do it tomorrow.

I just finished installing that battery in my New SS7. It sure does save a lot of space on the firewall. I have not fired up or turned anything on yet.

Tommy,
Thanks for the specs. I am now considering getting one of those, but I have one more question hopefully someone can help me with...
When they talk about calculating the "lead equivalent" amp hour ratings will it really last as long as a 20 amp hour lead battery? I ask because I have electronic fuel injection on the HKS 700T and if my alternator goes out I need to have as much capacity/time as possible for the engine to run off of it. Have not been able to find an explanation on this yet. Most descriptions for these batteries talk only about how amp hour ratings relate to starting/quick draw capacity and recovery.
Also, It says not to charge over 14.4 volts. My alternator seems to put out 14.5 volts. Is that ok?
