Default rib 1 to butt rib spacing

i want to glue my no.1 rib in place. how do you know how much space to leave between the no.1 rib and the butt rib? should i figure cloth on each and then guess at the thickness of polybrush and paint?
    thanks, ken

Basically, yes. I went with about 1/16 of an inch.

kin, the # 1 rib spacing will be set by the flaparon hinge on the flaparon.
make sure that you have the # 1 rib set to the hinge that is fixed in the flaparon and the other flaparon hinges line up with the ribs that they attach to. hope this helps.
