    Default Exhaust Alloy

The new stainless exhaust system I have for the 912 was purchased from Lockwood. Other than waiting for tomorrow and calling at the prescribed time, does anyone know what alloy these are made from? I need to cut and modify the final stacks that attach to the muffler and exit out the bottom of the cowl. But I don't know what tig filler rods to order.

    Thank you much,

    Mark,

This will need checking, but many S.S. exhaust systems are built out of 321 stainless. I believe that 326 rod might be the material to use. As I said, you'll have to double check that, as I could be wrong.
