    Default help wanted on hardware

    All,

    I'm stuck.
I have this project and a bulkhead is already build-in - it suits me right.
Now I want to attach the fuelpipes on the cockpit side to the bulkhead.
As we use different measures here in Europe I just cannot get a hold of these AN-sizes...

The inside bulkhead fits an 818-6d nut (attached to the pipe, in former state).

Now I am looking for an elbow that fits this bulkhead, taking into account the little room that is available between FW and rudder pedal... Like on the outside: but that is another thread (pipe).

Anyone an idea how to do this (preferably without changing the bulkhead..)???

    Hans,

Probably not what you want to hear; but, most of the kitfoxes I have seen have the fuel bulkhead in the center of the firewall away from the rudder pedals.

Otherwise, I am not familiar with hardware used in your location; however, is there a possibility of replacing all the hardware to what you do have available so there is no conversion from one system to the other required?????

Looks like you inherited a difficult deal - wishing you good luck.

    Sincerely

I can't tell if it's AN6 or AN8 flare fitting. I bought a swivel 90 fitting from Summit Racing for my carb. It's the tightest fitting I know of.

"AN" sizes relate to the inside diameter of the hose.... a good description is on wikipedia at the following link:
