Hey Ben, we just have to figure out the logistics on how to formation fly them someday! Bummer about the teeth. I remember I got mine out at about 24 and I thought it be as good as new a day later. I was very wrong. I was laid up for about a week! The first time I took the prescribed pain killers I was sick to my stomach all day so after that I didn't take them. Wishing you a speedy recovery and good luck on getting the land!

Sorry for the three posts in a row but I need your opinions!
I am planning on a very bright electric green pin strip, registration, and accents. So more or less it will look like the green on black as on this car.
My question for you guys is do you think I should make my struts and horz stab struts green or black?

I would paint everything black and do the green as the stripes or other designs. It always seems to look weird to me when people paint individual parts of the plane different colors, sort of looks like they pulled parts off a different colored plane. I'd do all black and use the green for a design on it, that will look great!
Or you could consider doing as he has done on the bottom air damn (if thats what you call it) and do a strip of green along the leading edge. But if you chose one or the other I would use black as well.

I'd keep it black and use the green/ stripes for the accent

Well the struts are ready for paint. I'd like to get them painted before popping the wings on the plane. But I also want to get the wings on the plane so I can fit the bubble doors and the turtle deck. After that, I'm running out of things to do except the daunting electrical and engine stuff.
I made a mistake and I am wondering what options I have. When I drilled the holes for my empennage inspection cover, I didn't give any thought to how close the holes needed to be for the tinnerman nuts and now they don't align. What do you guys recommend I do?

Take a look at using rivnuts.
I used nut plates and machine screws.
