Good eye Jim. Funny you mentioned those because I wasn't planning on using them but the two scraps I had fit there perfectly so I popped them on to see how they look. I forgot they were still on in the picture.

Hey Ross! I was hoping to have it flying by my 30th(Aug 5) originally which seemed realistic this time last year but since I'm now on a student budget and won't see a pay cheque until Jan at the earliest, my plan this summer is to just putter away at the loose ends that I can.
I'm thinking next summer will probably be doable. At that point all that will be mostly left is the electrical/panel, and the cabin heat system. I really have no idea how long the electrical will take for an amateur like me.

Yeah, I guess student 'wages' are not really designed for plane building! But what a great achievement for you at your age to have got this far and juggled everything else! I know a lot of us older guys would have been very happy to have got as far as you have at your age - keep it all in balance Josh!
cheers

Hey Josh, you thought of robbing a bank? Seems like that could be a good option for your situation, and would definitely help get the plane done faster... I have a couple movies that show how to do it pretty clearly if you need to borrow them.
It's crossed my mind! Is that how you got such a perfect lawn ? Just out of curiosity I might want to see those videos lol.

Hey Josh. I once started an RV4 at 32 yrs old. Empenage complete and wing kit in boxes in the garage. Some of it may be noticed in previous photos i have posted. Anyhow, family started and now 15 years later dream revived again in this new Kitfox family. Youll get it done. Just dont sell it if possible.
Eddie.
Hey Josh, the way I'm going with all of life's commitments we are probably still on track to finish together! We WILL finish them one day

Ahhh Ross, You didn't say which Nov.... I'm currently lying up after having some wisdom teeth out. Its given me some good teamKitfox reading time thou!
Also in the middle of negotiations with the local council about land for a hangar which seems to take up endless time... I need the hangar before I can assemble the Kitfox, kind of the cart be for the horse story.
