I was just reading the 2012 FARAIM (I know, I know). Section 91.409 "Inspections" states the follow: "(a) Except as provided in paragraph [c] of this section, no person may operate an aircraft unless, within the preceding 12 calendar months, it has had- (1) An annual inspection ...". The paragraph [c] referred to as the exception states "Paragraphs (a)...of this section do not apply to- (1) an aircraft that carries...a current experimental certificate...".
I'm reading Annual Inspections are NOT REQUIRED for Experimental Aircraft.
Other than the initial Air Worthiness and any Major Change inspections, are there any other FAA required inspections of experimental aircraft?
