Beautifull scenery out in Alberta there, Great place to fly no doubt.
My recently aquired CF-RGQ Kitfox IV on floats here in the Southern Georgian Bay area, where I live. Plenty of places to explore yet, Can't wait to get her on the skiis and continue living my dream in this nice little airplane.

Are the Photos anywhere near Midland, Ontario? I visited one of my Companies Sites at Midland on January 3rd to work out some manufacturing issues. Damned it was Cold. It had a record snowfall the weak I visited.

On a subsequent visit to the Raytheon Plant, I got a Dinner Cruise on the Georgian Bay, we got to see the Space Station Fly over as we were cruising the bay. It is definitely a beautiful area from the sky, or from the water! Definitely a highlight of my many trips to Canada, and I got to resolved a persistent manufacturing problems as well.

Yes very close to Midland, if I drive, 30 min, if I fly 5 min, as soon as I am 500'AGL I can see Midland Bay from my place, Boating is awsom in the area, I,ve seen large cabin cruizers from Texas come through here, as I am near the gateway Lock to what they call the Trent-Severn Lock waterway system.

As a sidebar note, not very well known, Orville Wright spent his summers on Georgian Bay for many many years, as he bought an Island called Lambert Isl. only about 10NM North of me. Appharently he would take the train all the way from Dayton Ohio, to Midland where he kept his big boat the "Kittyhawk" and then boat to his secluded Island... The owner of the Music store in Midland wrote a book about it all, and he also restored the Kittyhawk and I see it every year at the local boat show and shine,,,

Nice photos Scott. What kind of camera you using? Are the pics shot thru the plex doors or was the camera outside?

I started working on my condition inspection last October. It has been 14 years sense the little 503 Rotax had new seals and being that Rotax says you must replace them every 5 years I decided to take it over to Arlington Wa to Aircore Aviation and have it done. I finally got everything back together last week.

All winter long and this spring I have been hearing chainsaws working somewhere on the hill next to where I live. I couldn't see anything going on up there so decided to find out what they're doing up there. It was time for my annual spy plane mission to see whats new in the kittitas valley.

First, here's what the chainsaw noise is all about. The brush that looks like sage is bitterbrush. It burns like a good grade of kerosene. Those windrows, they have cut and hand piled the bitterbrush along the ridge top and have started chipping it. The land owner has built a multi million dollar house off to the right side so must be a fire break.

These folks are cow penners. Not the same as the guy building the fuel break. The center section of the big barn is 160 feet X 80 feet. They practice inside during the winter.

A new house. It is built Fire Lookout style. My wife loved this picture. She put herself through College working on a Forest Service Lookout 20 miles to the west. The fence behind the house is the Elk fence on the LT Murray state wildlife area. Behind that is the Okanagan/Wemnatchee, National Forest. Behind that is the Mt. Baker/ Snoqualmie NF. Their closest neighbors to the west would be in Seattle.

Doug and I just made a similar trip Thursday. I started out of Portland, breakfast in Prosser, Desert Aire, Ellingsburg, Kcls then back to Oregon. Got some good pics.
