Default Med IVO Ground Adjustable on 912UL?

I'm looking for a new prop for my Kitfox. I have an 80hp 912UL engine. Which is a better choice for my engine, the IVO Patriot UL 70" or the IVO Med 68" (both ground adjustable)?

FWIW, IVO said that either would work, but I'm looking for some experience here.

    Thanks!

I'd choose the 3 blade 70" Patriot for the 80 hp.

Is there a downside to the Med 68" for the 80hp?

    Hi kl2657

I am using the 70" Patriot on my Model 5 Vixen (912UL)with excellent results. I would strongly suggest going IFA if your regulations allow it. There was quite a discussion about this over the past couple of weeks.

the Patriot will be lighter and somewhat easier on your gearbox long term.
    Should be less money also.
