1200 has a larger vertical tail by 10", otherwise the differences are in the increase in max weight (lift struts, carry-through tubes, etc.).
would there be any reason some one would want a 4-1050 over a 4-1200 ?Thanks Rick
if a person came upon a good deal for a 1050 , i can see why you would want one .

Rick,
I have been flying both 80 and 100 hp Kitfoxes and I would not be unhappy with the 80 hp. But in contrast to that, after having flown both tails I would not want to own the small tail airplane.
I have sent you a private message that has my contact info in it. We should get together and do some flying. We should make sure it is the right airplane for you.
Good Luck,
Kelly
