IVO 582 Light vs Medium

Thinking of switching to IVO on my Model II 582 Bluehead. Two blades vs 3? Diameter? Light vs Medium?



Gearbox is C model with 2.48 (or is it 2.52) ratio.

C gear box it is 2.62 The B box was 2.58

3 blade, 72" ultralight. I have used the 68" and 72" and for short field work the 72" is the winner. Go IFA if you can and you get the best of both worlds for take off and cruise, as well as geing able to control EGTs at any power setting.

Between the IFA and the Arctic Sparrow IFA needles I can dial the engine in to any power setting, EGT or fuel burn I need regardless of altitude or OAT.
