    Default Lift Strut Cuffs

I have a set of lift strut cuffs I have never installed. I have no hardware or instructions. Has anyyone installed thses and if so how did you attach. I want them easily removable to inspect rod ends.

I've only seen one set installed and it was on Murle Williams model 5 and I think he used sheet metal screws that went through the cuffs and into the fabric reinforcement metal tabs that are installed around the strut openings during the covering process. It's been a while so I would call John McBean at Kitfox or Murle Williams at 602-978-0553. I know Murle made retractable tie down tabs for his model 5 as the original tie down tabs get covered up with the cuffs. I made a set of retractable tie down tabs for my model 4 but haven't installed them or the cuffs yet.
P.S. Murle had little rubber moldings that went around the edge of his cuffs that protected the paint on the wings and looked really nice.
