I believe that there were at least 3 or 4 from this area who were planning on going, but a couple of us (myself and friend Stan) are not going to make it. It was a hard decision, and I will really miss it.

I am very excited to be going this year... making the long drive, from Fairbanks Alaska! I tried to convince my fellow Fairbanks builder to go too, but he has other commitments.

Driving from Fairbanks - sweet. I've made the drive to/from AK to the outside several times. It's a long but beautiful drive.

I wonder if there's an award for longest drive to the event award?
