    Default Primer?

What product are y?all using to cover scratches or areas where you?ve had to knock down powder coating? I?ve used automotive touch up paint in a few places but was also looking at SEM self etching primer.

My fuselage powder coat is gloss black. I've used Rustoleum gray self-etching primer and gloss black enamel paint. It's a perfect color match.

I use the Polyfiber Epoxy Primer that comes with the covering kit on steel tubing and some aluminum parts. I have also used the highly recommended 7220 grey self-etching primer from NAPA Auto Parts on some large aluminum parts like flaperons.

I've had great results from this 2-part epoxy automotive primer. Comes in five colors, red, beige, white, grey and black. It's economical, tough as nails and easy to shoot.
