    I guess I asked this question too soon. I was actually reading through the builders tips in the manual and found that Kitfox actually addresses the issue of not wanting to install and remove the nyloc nuts repeatedly as it will reduce their effectiveness and effect the final torque.

    It doesn't take long to generate a bunch of used AN hardware. I use it for all those install/remove cycles and torque it just like it's the real deal. When it comes time for final install I use fresh hardware, and torque stripe it.
    If I use any hardware store garbage I use black oxide bolts/screws with the non nylon locking nuts. Impossible to not see it even upon casual inspection.
