We left the story with the ink beginning to run on the page at a rain soaked airfield in Kent. This is what happened next - quite a bit of Kitfox flying, a Comedy of Errors and some family stuff....

What a great write up. I enjoyed it and thank you for taking the time. (But, I have to admit, it reminded me of my times in good ol England. Lots of overcast skys and some drizzle but the pubs limited the angst.)

Thank you all for the kind words. The writing is therapeutic and keeps me occupied until the next flight. The Kitfox meets my needs perfectly and I hope the stories encourage others to leave the pattern and take on longer flights. I was inspired by reading reports on this forum, probably 15 years ago now, of pilots flying their Kitfox across the US. These planes are made for adventure.Originally Posted by bbs428
