    Default Subaru engin

    Just came in possession of a Mark-4 built in 1995. Very nice for it's age, however it has the Subaru engine which I understand is not so popular. The Ellison throttle body diaphragm was bad but after much sourcing I found one and replaced it. The engine now runs great. I have flown it once and it seems too have plenty of power and runs smooth, but is a bugger to get started. It has the NSI EA81-98-TBI simultaneously firing dual ignition system. I have checked everything the book says and then some. I suspect it may be the ignition coils, diode pack, or a combination of both. Anyone know of a source for these items or perhaps a complete replacement? Thanks in advance for any help or ideas.

    Have you tried eBay or an auto salvage yard? eBay has several used coils listed
