Default Flaperon End Rib Flush Question

Howdy, I am at the portion of my build for a S7 where I am to attach the end rib for the flaperon and the instructions say that it needs to be flush with the aluminum skin. The way I read it is the outside face of the end rib needs to be flush with the edge of the skin, is that correct? When I insert the rib it gets flush with the inside of the rib but without a considerable amount of work I dont see how the rib will fit in the flaperon completely.
The photo is with the rib in as far as it can go. Thank yall in advance!

The way I read it, and how I did mine.... is the outside of the flaperon bracket is flush with the edge of the flaperon skin. It states to file the trailing edge of the flaperon bracket if needed. (mine did) I took it as this bracket needs to go into the flaperon skin completely until flush which puts the trailing edge of the flaperon bracket into the skin as well. My guess is.... it "boxes" in the end of the flaperon and adds strength. Also states that it gets glued in.

It looks like the front of the end rib is out of shape compared to the skin? The trailing edge looks like it would have to lose 1/8 of material to fit

You might try swapping them to see which one fits better in each flaperon. I had to grind/sand a pretty good bit to get the trailing edge to fit inside without distorting the flaperon.

Yup. You file it to fit literally flush with the skin and then use the Hysol along with the rivets. Most likely you will find the Hysol will fill that little opening you see and when you smooth it with your finger, it will look perfect.
