    Default STi Wing Tip Question

I am doing some finish work on the wing tips before I am ready to primer them. There is a coating on them, light green in color that I am wondering if I need to remove before primer. It comes up really easy which makes me wonder how primer would stick to the wing tip as a whole. Having zero experience with fiberglass and pretty much an equal amount when it comes to spray painting makes me wonder. Pic isn't great but you get the idea hopefully about the stuff.

    Thanks

Gary, that is a mould release and needs to be washed with dish soap and warm water. Then you should prep the surface by sanding with 220 paper before primer.

    Have fun!

Looking into having a carbon wrap installed on the extended tips.
Less painting that I'm involved with makes the world a better place.
