Here are two pictures of my lower flaperon bearing. The original design has a fixed derlin piece riveted to the two tabs that anchor the turtledeck. I ended up hingeing the lower bearing so I wouldn't bung up the flaperon when folding the wings. The turtledeck has the upper bearing riveted in place. I would not fly an early model without the bearing. From Model IV onwards, the design was changed eliminating the need for this bearing.

thanks for the picture, I found the section for this in the build manual, I will add the missing component.
