    Default Side stringer rivets?

I'm ready to attach the side stringers to their saddles and the aft tubing, but the instructions seem contradictory and a search of build photos doesn't clarify for me. The build manual says "drill through the tube and saddle, top and bottom". Certainly sounds like you'll have a hole that goes all the way through. However, the associated parts list calls for eight 1/4" rivets. A 1/4" rivet is only barely long enough to rivet one side of the saddle/tube interface (ie top or bottom, but not all the way through). There are 4 saddles on each side; 8 rivets is enough for one rivet per saddle, not two (top and bottom). What's the story? One rivet per saddle, and an unneeded hole on the other side of the saddle/stringer? Two rivets per saddle, meaning the parts callout is wrong?
    Thanks!

    Michael,

Two 1/4" rivets per saddle, one from the top down and one from the bottom up.

You do not want a single long rivet going through both holes and the tube.

So parts callout is wrong, should be 16 rivets, eh?

    Thanks!
