    Default poly-fiber paint

How much paint did you use when you painted your plane? Just trying to judge if the paint is too thin on my plane

I can’t specifically remember how much I used, but it was more than I expected. Ranthane was my choice. White covers with fewer applications and red requires more. Take your plane outside on a sunny day and if you don’t like what you see, add some more.

Did you use the silver base coat UV protector? I shot that stuff on until it it stopped the light from shining through from a drop light inside the plane. It was quite some time ago but I remember it was alot of paint. Then when I painted the white on it wasn't as bad.
